The British School In The Netherlands

To apply for a place for you child, you must complete an Application Form. Application Forms can be completed online or on paper using the hard copy form contained in the back of the Prospectus Pack. Please note that one form needs to be completed for each child. When you send in or submit your application it needs to be accompanied by the following documentation before the admissions process can start:

  •  Latest school report 
  •  Copy of birth certificate or passport 
  •  Passport-sized photograph with name & date of birth on reverse

Once the above items have been received the individual applications will be discussed at the next relevant Admissions Meeting (held fortnightly).  Please note your application cannot be submitted at the appropriate admissions meeting until all the relevant documentation has been received. Failure to supply the correct documents may delay your application.

What Happens Next?
 
As soon as a decision has been made – or if further information is required – you will be contacted by the Admissions Office. If an offer of a place is made to your child, you will be sent an offer letter with a School Contract, which needs to be signed and returned to the Admissions Office. You will receive additional, more detailed information in the form of a Welcome Pack prior to your child starting at the school.

The British system works on September 1st as the key entry date for each school year. It is the age of a child on this date that determines the year group to which they belong.
