Additional support can arise from any factor which causes a barrier to learning, whether that factor relates to social, emotional, cognitive, linguistic, disability, or family and care circumstances.
The school is proud of its record of integrating children with additional needs into its mainstream classes. The provision of a specially designated Learning Support Assistant may be required to meet the complex learning needs of some children.

Study Skills
Students are also provided with the opportunity to participate in additional Study Skills classes to assist their organisational skills. Study Skills classes are a non exam option choice from Y10 to Y12 and are particularly helpful when students are considering their choices for GCSE &/or A-Levels and you feel they may benefit from extra curriculum support & guidance for their exam years.
