The Language Centre is a dedicated department of The British School in The Netherlands (BSN), established to help and support our international community by providing quality language courses for both adults and children living in The Netherlands. Providing a diverse range of courses for over 2000 part time students every year, the Language Centre provides a vital and welcome focus for many. With the youngest pupils being just five years old and the oldest over eighty it is clear that the Centre really does have something for everyone.
The student body is made up not only from the large international expatriate community in The Hague, but also from the local Dutch community. Individuals and groups enrol in a variety of courses to improve their language skills. Adults can improve their Dutch and English language skills at the BSN Language Centre and for young learners a variety of English language courses are organised throughout the year. We hope that you will find a course or programme that suits your needs within these pages and that you will soon discover for yourself the benefits and satisfaction that learning a new language can bring.
International students who attend The British School in The Netherlands full-time can join the after school Language Clubs. More information about these language clubs can be found on the BSN ParentNet. The language lessons at the BSN Language Centre are taught by qualified native speaker teachers and all courses are complemented by a certificate of attendance.
