Junior School Diamanthorst Celebrate Founders Day

previous next

On 2 June JSD celebrated and recognised the children's achievements throughout the school year at their traditional Founders Day ceremony. This was Paul Ellis’ last Founders Day as Head of Junior School Diamanthorst.

During the ceremony Chairman of the Board of Governors Peter Bayliff paid tribute to Mr Ellis for his 30 years of service to the BSN, particularly the positive impact he's had whilst Head at JSD, before wishing him well in his new career as a professional painter. Mr Ellis also spoke and praised all of the children for their achievements across the year and acknowledged their efforts and attainment in all aspects of school life.

The awards were presented to the children by Governor for Parental Interests Mr Thierry Guisan and the ceremony also included a series of fantastic individual and group music, drama and dance performances from the children.

Many congratulations to all the winners for your deserved achievements this year.
