BSN Welcomes new families
On the beautiful sunny evening of 11 September, the school hosted a special event to welcome new families to the BSN community.
Held in the atrium and grounds of the BSN Senior School, over 200 new families from all the BSN sites were invited to this new style evening event. With both parents and children welcome there was a friendly fair like atmosphere as people took the opportunity to get to know each other.
The BSN Area Reps were on hand to offer help and information to the newcomers, as were our parent International Representatives from many of the countries on roll at the school.
After School Care providers 'Robbie's Place' ran lively activities for younger children, whilst older children (and many adults too) enjoyed a range of traditional Dutch games including the frustrating Stokken Vagen!
This was a new format for the event and judging by the turnout and the large numbers of people who enjoyed a sunny barbecue and refreshments from the PTA bar, it is set to become a regular fixture in the BSN calendar.
Many thanks to all the people who helped make the event such a success and a big welcome to all the new families who have joined the BSN.
