The BSN is pleased to announce that on Tuesday 22 June, Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands will officially open its new campus in Leidschenveen.

Her presence at the event will continue the school's long history with the Dutch Royal Family over the past 50 years.

David Porritt, Head of Junior School Leidschenveen, had the pleasure of informing the children this morning of the upcoming visit.  He explained - "The programme for the visit has been carefully planned to include as many students as possible so they are all understandably excited about the event.  They will be singing one of their favourite songs and there will undoubtedly be many other special moments during the time that the Princess will be with us."

Previous BSN schools have also had the honour of being opened by a member of the Dutch Royal Family - Her Majesty Queen Beatrix opened the newly built Senior School in Voorshoten in 2003 and prior to that the Prince of Orange opened the BSN Junior School Vlaskamp in Mariahoeve in 1997.
