The British School In The Netherlands

The book was originally the idea of Giuliana Patti - Italian Representative and is born as a tribute to the wonderful diversity of our school and the dedicated work of the school’s International Parent Representatives Committee.

Led by a sub-committee of 4 representatives, the final product is outstanding.  The driving force behind the artwork was a combination of Chantal and Warren Rieutort-Louis (current Senior School teacher and ex-BSN student).  At 96 pages long, the book reads as a cooking journey that begins in the Netherlands, where the school is located, and takes you to the various corners of our complex world. The primary intention was to provide you readers, parents, teachers and students, with real recipes of the flavourful meals usually enjoyed at the various international school events, enabling you to confidently reproduce the dishes at home for family and friends.

No single book could hope to include the immense variety of food from the entire planet, nevertheless this collection brings together some of the most famous recipes from the amazing number of countries represented in our school.
