Situated in Voorschoten - a quiet residential area just outside The Hague - the BSN Senior School was completely remodelled and re-built in 2002-03 to provide a stunning, state of the art learning environment for up to 1,100 students from all over the world. The grounds at the Senior School are extensive by Dutch standards and the school has large sports fields, hockey pitches and floodlit, all weather tennis courts.
The teaching and classroom areas are extensive – specialist areas such as Design & Technology; ICT; Food Technology; Art and Music benefit from purpose built workshops, studios and suites whilst the three main sciences each have their own dedicated suite of laboratories.
There is a large library and resources area, with networked computers and internet access, a school hall complete with stage and professional theatrical lighting; a cafeteria and enormous sports hall. In addition to the ICT suites, the school also has numerous laptop trolleys – each containing 25 machines which link to the school network and the internet through a wireless system.
