11. What is 'Flexible working'?
Flexible working is when you work at the BSN on an 'as and when' basis. You will receive a contract of employment without fixed working hours. You will be called (mostly at short notice) to provide cover for existing staff when they are away on courses, on holiday or absent due to illness. Therefore you must be flexible! This type of work does mean however that you are not tied to your work. For further information on how to apply to join the Flexible working list please see the Current Vacancies page.
