We are looking for a Part time (40%) Learning Support Assistant at our Junior School Vlaskamp.
The hours are from 08.30 - 16.00 Thursday and Friday and the contract offered will be untill 13th July 2012.
Please note: This has been changed from our original advert of 3 days per week, Tuesday's and Wednesdays plus 1 other.
In this role you will support students with Special Educational needs throughout the school day in all activities to ensure that the child gains full access to the Curriculum.
Applicants need to have a calm and patient manner in order to establish a supportive relationship whilst encouraging independency in the student. This role requires candidates to make an assessment of the student’s needs, to plan medium and short-term targets, modify materials as appropriate, to monitor progress and to keep up to date records. Candidates will preferably have experience of working with SEN students. The successful candidate will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a close team on a daily basis.
