We are looking for fully qualified native-speaker teachers for our after-school Language Clubs. The successful candidates must have recognised teaching degrees and experience of teaching languages, ideally in the primary age range.
The BSN is committed to language tuition and offers a range of extra-curricular language courses, either as a mother tongue or an additional language. These after-school clubs aim to stimulate language development in a fun way at primary school level. Currently we offer tuition in the following languages: Dutch, French, Spanish, German, Arabic and Russian. As we are looking to expand our programme, we also invite applications for teaching other languages.
BSN Language Clubs take place once a week for an hour at the end of the school; they usually take place between 15.00 and 16.45. Teachers working as part of the Language Club team are timetabled to work for a minimum of 1 hour teaching per week and a maximum of 5 hours per week. Maximum class size is usually ten students and lessons follow the BSN school calendar. Depending on the language and day, the clubs are held at one of our three junior schools in The Hague.
