Senior & Sixth Form Learning & Development

Achieving The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is a rite of passage for many of our students, and this term a formal ceremony was held to recognise those students who had achieved their Bronze and Silver Award. Proud parents and staff listened to students' reflections on their experiences and life lessons. The BSN has the biggest cohort of International Award participants in the Benelux. Congratulations to our students!

The International Award is open to all, 14-24 years of age, regardless of their background. The Award is about personal development, not competition with others. It enables young people to learn practical and social skills that are valuable to their life and career development. There are three medals: Bronze (age 14), Silver (age 15) and Gold (age 16).
