A (Slightly) Scientific Christmas Showcases The Many Talents Of JSL F2

Junior Music / Performance

Last night JSL KS2 students took to the stage of a packed house to present their Christmas Concert: A (Slightly) Scientific Celebration.

We watched as science-sceptics questioned the subject to a team of orange-haired experts who joyously proclaimed the relevance of science in our lives. We laughed as they read with confusion from Stephen Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time”; and enjoyed the festive musical extravaganza put on by the KS2 choir and accompaniments of talents on the drums, recorders, piano, violin, and flute.

The theme was inspired by the success of JSL winning the Primary Science Quality Mark of Gold this past summer. Gillian Weinberg did a fantastic job weaving science and holiday spirit together in the script, and it made for a truly delightful performance from the KS2 ensemble.
