Our flexible school bus service at The British School in the Netherlands will pick up your child before the start of school and/or drop your child home at the end of the day.

Our logistic partners are experienced with student transportation for international businesses. All minibuses have track-and-trace devices, which allows Achttax to follow the vehicle(s).

The coach/minibus services operate in Den Haag, Leidschendam, Rijswijk, Voorschoten and Wassenaar.

Please note that the bus service is not offered to Foundation 1 students. Foundation 2 students may use the buses after the autumn half-term break. 

Bus Fees 2026-2027

The fees depend on the type of bus service your child will be using. The minimum registration is one term. Fees that are paid for transportation cover the costs made. No profit is made, so we can keep the cost as low as possible.

Bus fees are subject to change, and the BSN reserves the right to vary the price of the bus service.

Applying For Bus Service

If you would like to use our school transport services, please fill in the form. It takes one week to process the form and get transport for your child organised (with the exception of the start of the school year, which usually takes two weeks).

Leaving Notifications

Should your child no longer require the bus service, please let us know via [email protected]. 

Please see the notification of leaving deadlines for the 2026-2027 school year.

Please note if the deadline is missed, you will still be charged for the following term.
