The Bursary Fund Art and Craft Fair took place on Sunday 21st May. Under sunny skies, around 20 families turned up to sell their second hand goods from the boots of their cars; in addition a number of students took part in our “rug sale” selling toys, games and books from their collection. Inside the Senior School around 25 vendors sold their beautiful and extremely professional handmade jewellery, books, paintings, candles and so on.

Thirsty and hungry visitors were catered to with a bar, tea and coffee, bacon sandwiches and a magnificent homemade cake stand. Homemade jams and a large secondhand book stall raised further money for the Bursary Fund. Project Africa were also present helping the event run smoothly.

The event was a success raising over 3,000 Euros, which will be further supplemented in coming weeks by the efforts of Year 10 students to raise money through the Bursary Fund Apprentice scheme.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed or came, and we look forward to seeing you in November for our fabulous laser show party!
