Bursary Fund Event

On Sunday 21 May the annual Art and Craft Market will take place at The British School in the Netherlands (Jan van Hooflaan 3) from 12.30 – 15.30. There will be hand-made items for sale such as jewellery, paintings, ceramics, children’s dolls, as well as educational English language books. There will also be a type of high tea with home-made cakes and jams.

A small entrance fee will be charged (3 euros for adults and 1 euro for children) and this will be donated 100% to The Bursary Fund.  This is a charity that helps to support students with their school fees when families are experiencing financial difficulties and is available whilst their son or daughter is taking public exams.

In addition to the Art and Craft Market there will be a car boot sale on the car park. Vendors will be selling nearly new and second hand items such as toys, books, bikes, children’s clothes and small household items – it’s a great way to pick up a bargain from families clearing out before they move in the summer.

Bring your children along to enjoy the (free) bouncy castle, face painting and children’s activities whilst you enjoy the atmosphere. All we need now is the sun to make the day perfect.
