Language Centre Spotlight

Former Head Teacher Paul Ellis brings his original paintings to the BSN Language Centre with the exhibition Destination Scotland.

Paul Ellis, who served as Head Teacher at BSN Diamanthorst until 2012, now is living and working in Amsterdam as a full time painter. A native of Scotland, he has frequently visited his homeland over the past years and finds inspiration for his paintings in the land, the cities and the spirit of the country.

After a successful exhibition in Edinburgh, Paul brings the exhibition Destination Scotland to The Hague. This exhibition of vividly colourful oil paintings represents his artistic response to the beauty of Scotland’s landscape and his view of the character of the city of Edinburgh. Paul works in a realistic style creating a sense of calm, serene harmony for the viewer.

Staff, teachers and community members enjoyed the exhibition during several open house events over the past weeks at the new location of the BSN Language Centre centrally located in the Hague. Members of the BSN community are invited to the official exhibition opening on Saturday, 22 September 15.00-18.00. To confirm attendance, please send an RSVP before 19 September.

For details of opening times and to arrange a viewing, or to confirm attendance to the Exhibition Opening on 22 September, contact Paul Ellis here: [email protected]

The exhibition is to run until the end of November 2018.
