Family Association Event

Every year, the Family Association works tirelessly to put on the Summer Fair – a real red-letter day in the BSN calendar. The Junior School Leidschenveen playground is transformed into an amusement park filled with food, activities, performances, and entertainment for the whole family.

Despite the weather being less than ideal, the atmosphere at the Summer Fair was warm and inviting, thanks to the more than 1000 visitors who took part in this annual event. Food stalls were kept busy, while plenty of little ones enjoyed the balloon entertainment that the FA subsidised.

Several stalls were set up to allow the BSN community to raise funds for their respective organisations. The Second Hand Uniform and Second Hand Book stalls even raised over 2000 EUR!

When asked about the event, CEO and Principal, Kieran Earley said: “The annual Summer Fair is a remarkable event that brings together the BSN community and really highlights the spirit of the BSN. Thank you to the Family Association for running this, and especially to Lisa Brunslev for her continued efforts to organise these events for the BSN. She will be truly missed when she steps down in the autumn term.”

Thanks to the BSN parents and staff who volunteered at the event and a special thanks to the Year 13 and Year 9 students who helped with the set up and at the event itself.
