Describing a library Mark Twain once said "In a good bookroom you feel in some mysterious way that you are absorbing the wisdom contained in all the books through your skin, without even opening them"

Across our Junior Schools, one place that holds a wealth of knowledge and tools to help the imagination run wild is our libraries.  Our Librarians are the gatekeepers and every day they open up their world to take the children on a journey through storytelling.

Recently children at Junior School Vlaskamp were treated to a fun-filled story from Mrs. Luck the Senior Leaders and Library Co-ordinator.  The book was titled "Whoops" and it was about a cat, dog, and a mouse's hilarious escapades to make the right noises.  The children loved it and were enthusiastically making the sounds of each animal along with Mrs. Luck.  They left wanting more and Mrs. Luck is busy choosing the new one.
