Junior 80 Nationalities

Koningsdag came early to Junior School Vlaskamp this year.

On Wednesday, 12 April students and staff came dressed in their best orange wear and enjoyed workshops where they learnt about Dutch culture, traditions, art and handicrafts. Students were captivated by the clog making demonstration and there was lots of laughter from everyone playing “koekhappen” when students tried their best to eat a slice of ontbijtkoek hanging from string without using their hands.

Located in the heart of the Netherlands, the BSN loves to take part in traditional Dutch celebrations, and also those of other cultures that represent the #80nationalities that make up our community.
