As part of their science unit exploring habitats, Junior School Vlaskamp Year 2 travelled to Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam to observe the wide range of animals.
The students looked closely at photos of where the animals would live naturally and compared them to their enclosures, suggesting ways to make the animal feel more ‘at home’. During the day, the children saw elephants, tigers, lions, rhinos, hippos and countless more amazing animals.
