The five football teams at Senior School Voorschoten have had a busy term thus far! They've traveled to several cities, going as far as Paris; and played against eight different teams. This was even the first ever fixture for the girls team and they won their first game!
As the teams looks back on what a great start to the season they've had, they also realised that they covered a lot of ground - quite literally! They have driven locally here in the Netherlands, then making stops in Antwerp, Brussels and, of course, a tournament in The City of Lights. And what fun would it be to use all that petrol if we didn't make a game out of it?
Starting Tuesday, 17 October, the @BSN_Sport Twitter will be running Guess the Kilometres Quiz - the person to guess the closest to the total distance (in kilometres) that all five teams have travelled combined together (there and back) will win a t-shirt from the Sports Department... and earn the satisfaction of knowing you are basically a calculator in human form.
Submissions can be entered via Twitter - just be sure to tag @BSN_Sport with your guess and use the hashtag #GuessTheKilometres - or on Facebook with the corresponding post. On Friday 28 October, the Sports feed will announce the answer to the total distance and who the winner is.
