On 29 October, David Nurse - Shooting Coach for NBA Players – ran a fantastic basketball clinic for our BSN students.
Sixty-three students from ages 9 to 17 enjoyed a full day of basketball. They learned shooting, defense and dribbling skills from Nurse, who is one of the best shooters in the world. Nurse holds several records, but perhaps the most impressive one is his world record for the ‘most three-pointers in a minute’. He has worked with NBA players such as Jeremy Lin and Lonzo Ball and was a shooting trainer for the Brooklyn Nets.
Besides passing on some of his basketball skills, Nurse also talked about how having a positive mind-set and attitude will help students achieve their goals not only in basketball but also in life.
It was a great experience for all the people involved. We love the game!
