Results Achievements

Congratulations to the class of 2021 at The British School in The Netherlands on their A Level, AS Level and BTEC results, which they have collected today.

Interim Headteacher of Senior School Voorschoten, Vicki Hallatt, said:

We are delighted by another year of exceptional results for our students, in the face of challenging study conditions, periods of remote learning and uncertainty about assessments. We are so proud of our students, teachers and support staff who have demonstrated great resilience and perseverance to achieve such fantastic outcomes. The results are a testament to excellent teamwork, commitment, dedication and individualised support.

This year's grades were determined by the students’ teachers, carefully considering a range of evidence to provide a fair and accurate assessment of the achievements of the students.

Celebrating BSN Students' Achievements

As a non-selective school, our results at A-Level are outstanding. Half (49.5%) of all grades were at A* or A which is an incredible achievement. 88% of grades were A*-C and 99% of all grades were a pass (A*-E). Six of our students achieved four or more A* grades and thirteen of our students achieved three or more A* grades.  In addition to this, all of our students who took BTEC courses passed, and five students gained starred Distinctions

CEO, Heath Monk, welcomed the results:

I would like to congratulate our students on an excellent set of results. They should all be extremely proud of what they have achieved, especially under such challenging circumstances. Thanks should also go to our families, for the support and commitment that they have shown to their children’s education; particularly through the periods of remote learning that we have experienced over the past two years.

BSN Students Secure Places at Top Universities Around the World

Our students are now heading to top universities around the world including universities in the Netherlands such as The University of Amsterdam, TU Delft, Leiden University and The Royal Academy of Art.
