Over the past few weeks, Year 5 students at Junior School Vlaskamp (JSV) have been busy in the kitchen as part of a delicious initiative in their Food Technology lessons. Led by Food Technology teacher Barbara Burley, the students explored a variety of sweet and savoury snack recipes during “Snacktember”.
Students enjoyed making - and sampling! - tasty snacks from around the world.
To continue the culinary fun at home, Barbara has kindly shared their recipes. Whether you're cooking with your child or letting them take the lead, these dishes are a great way to explore flavours together. Feel free to experiment - perhaps a different spice blend, or a new topping? The possibilities are endless!
