Many congratulations to The British School in The Netherlands’ Class of 2017 on their fantastic A Level examination results. 

Commenting on the results, Acting Headteacher, James Oxlade said: "I am very proud of our students who have worked hard to achieve these outstanding A results this year. The achievements reflect their commitment to their studies and the huge amount of support they have received from their teachers and families throughout their time at the BSN. I, and all the staff, wish the students every success in their chosen further studies and careers and look forward to hearing of their future successes."

BSN Class of 2017 A Level results:

• 42% of grades were A* or A grades (UK 2017 National average is 26.3%)
• 71% of all grades received were either A*, A or B grade
• 100% of all grades were a pass (A*-E)
• 53% of students gained A*, A or B in their 3 subjects
• The average point score for the cohort is just over 136 (new points system) gives an equivalence to AAB 

This cohort has also achieved the following University offers/acceptances:

5 conditional offers to study at Oxford and Cambridge
6 conditional offers to study at Imperial College London
83 conditional offers to study at a member of the prestigious Russell Group Universities in the UK
Offers from Canada (Queens, Ryerson) , USA, Singapore, and Switzerland (ETH Zurich and University of Geneva)
40 conditional offers to study in The Netherlands (TU Delft, Groningen, UvA Amsterdam, and more)
