Congratulations to our Design Technology Department, who were pleased to learn from the AQA Moderator that they have retained all of the coursework samples submitted to be used for grade awarding and for use as exemplar material for training purposes. This represents the hard work of our staff and students in their preparations for the GCSE's.
The Moderator passed on his thanks to the relevant teaching staff and commenting on: “…what a pleasure it was to mark the work. Which was of a very high standard.” (sic)
Kathy Moore, Head of Digital and Creative Arts Faculty added: “We are delighted to hear these comments from the Moderator and look forward to receiving detailed feedback form in the post results period. Our students and staff worked really hard in the lead-up to these exams and its great to hear such positive comments.”
