The BSN has turned orange today as students celebrate King’s Day!
Across the campuses, students wore their best orange clothing to celebrate this special Dutch holiday through games, activities and lessons that highlight Dutch culture and traditions.

At JSD, students came together to perform the dance to Kinderen voor Kinderen’s song FITLALA. This is the official song of the 2018 King’s Games, and over 1.2 million children around the Netherlands performed this dance during the games. At JSV, students participated in hands-on workshops throughout the day to learn about the Netherlands, including creating their own Delft blue tiles and decorating clogs. At JSL, students played traditional games and visited their own outdoor Kleedjesmarkt.
