Hearty congratulations to all of The British School in the Netherlands (BSN) A-Level and BTEC students who received their results today, 14 August 2025. Their excellent outcomes and impressive destinations are a reflection of our students' commitment and perseverance.
Patrick Heuff, Headteacher of Senior School Voorschoten, praised the students' efforts:
All of our students who collected results today should feel incredibly proud of themselves! This set of results highlights the excellent academic outcomes that BSN students are capable of achieving.
Through hard work, consistent effort, and the unwavering support of their teachers, our students have many achievements to celebrate."
Celebrating Student Success
This year's A-Level and BTEC results are particularly commendable. A remarkable 83.9% of all grades were awarded A*-C, and 35.2% were awarded A*- A. An impressive further 10.3% earned the highest grade of A*.
Our BTEC outcomes were once again excellent, with a 100% pass rate and a host of Distinction and Distinction* grades awarded. These results allow our BTEC students to access a wide range of robust professional pathways.
Mr Heuff shared:
"Beyond the stellar set of exams, there are countless examples of individual progress and growth. The character, integrity, and resilience shown are a great testament to these young people and will serve them well as they venture beyond our campus gates towards their bright futures".

A Shared Journey of Success
Behind every student's achievement is the steadfast support of the BSN community. From the dedication of our teachers and staff to the encouragement of families and the friendships formed among peers, our students' results reflect the importance of strong relationships and a sense of belonging.
We are thankful to all families who have placed their trust in BSN – whether your child joined us in Foundation Stage or more recently in the Sixth Form, your support has been integral to their success. Beyond this, your engagement with school events, sports fixtures, concerts and performances has positively impacted the whole BSN.
Well Wishes for the Future
Together with July's outstanding IB results, these achievements reflect the breadth and depth of the education offered at BSN.
As graduates transition from students to alumni, we look forward to welcoming them back to share their experiences and continue to inspire future generations of BSN students. They are part of our school’s long history, and we will continue to celebrate your successes wherever your path leads.
- Patrick Heuff
Congratulations to our Class of 2025! As they take their next steps beyond the BSN, we look forward to seeing where their journeys lead them – now as valued members of our BSN alumni community. We hope they will return to share more about their experiences in the years ahead, and we are proud that they will always remain an important part of the BSN community.

We will be adding more photos from the morning. Please stay tuned!
